Bhakti Yoga Soul Adventure Content
Bhakti Yoga Flow
Daily contemplative yoga class accompanied by mantra; moving through asana as an experience of mantra in the body. Experiencing vibrational energy as it moves through the chakras and kindles the soul. Thus we offer our yoga practice as a prayer of embodiment, as an invocation to creation for the greater good of all. Each mantra generates an intention and a sound field that connects us through the heart to a guided asana sequence, engaging the body, breath, and awareness in a unified dance of synchrony and sanctity within the vibration of the mantra. While engendering all the beneficial qualities of hatha yoga, Bhakti Yoga Flow also invokes a transcendence of physicality and personality, taking the practice into the refined energetics of soul devotion.
Kirtan, Mantra, and Sound Meditation Soul Journeys
The mysteries of creation and the mysteries of sound are one, both are vast realms of vibrational frequency, both have limitless expression, both arise from a profound intelligence beyond rational knowing. The power of sacred music to move the soul, open the heart, & alter consciousness is an ancient vedic science; nada yoga. The essence of Om, the primal vibration, gives rise to all phenomena and all states of consciousness. Chanting mantras and singing kirtan create sacred space and devotional consciousness through contemplative group coherence. Fields of sound that are rich in harmonics and primal in nature can induce deep meditation, healing experiences, and profound visionary journeys in expanded consciousness. Mantra, Kirtan, and Sound Meditation will play a central role in the Bhakti Yoga Soul Adventure. Participants will gain a large repertoire of mantras and bhajans, will receive a comprehensive songbook and recording for future reference, and will have opportunity to experience and learn drumming, native flute, and didjeridu.
Harmonizing the inward with outward, honoring the body as sacred, offering and receiving touch from the heart of being. Experiencing the power of touch to center awareness and engage the healing processes of the body, feeling into the sanctity of each shared moment and the eternal kindness of soul communion. Conscious Touch is a deeply meditative and intuitive approach to bodywork that does not require much knowledge of anatomy. When we are loving and spacious within, and fully conscious in the present moment, our hands are guided from the soul level and our touch is graced by its depth of caring.
Contemplative Movement and Unity Dance Pilgrimage
Conscious movement grounds the awareness into the present moment, freeing the mind to rest, and allowing the authentic self to lovingly express in reverent heart centered gestures of devotion. The program will include daily practice of an awareness through movement sequence called Infinity Wave Repatterning, and the profoundly beautiful Unity Dance, which we will take on pilgrimage to sacred places in nature as a ceremony of reverence and communion with pacha mama and her biospheric web of life. The unity dance is a gentle integrated practice for sustaining our physical and energetic centering, and for opening our awareness to experience our unity with the greater whole. It serves to “weave our awareness into the fabric of creation” and to enter into a state of wholistic coherence. The unity dance also gently stretches muscles, circulates lymph fluids and invigorates the nervous system with flowing movements, it oxygenates and enlivens the tissues with pranic breathing, and brings the mind into focussed presence with the heart, body, and soul intention.
The act of feeding ourselves is the act of creating our bodies, and by being self-responsible for the entire process, in caring for the soil, planting and tending our gardens, preparing our meals, and eating highly nutritious and vital foods, we create ourselves in a deliberately wholesome and reverent way. Wholistic Permaculture is the Bhakti way to steward the earth and commune with our habitat, the ecosystems that so graciously sustain us; intelligent design of infrastructure, a thriving biodiverse landscape, conscious and sustainable ways of living that arise from our devotion to the wellbeing of the whole. Our growing awareness of the subtle aspects of nature’s design, such as the cycling of life energies and the consciousness of plants, enables us to honor these aspects of the process as well, increasing the depth and richness of our relationship with the natural world and our ability to live in harmony and sustain its wellness.
Inspiration - Activation - Evolution ; Opening awareness and refining perception to align our life-paths with greater truth and higher potential. As we progress on our journey of self-development, its helpful to refine our lens of selfperception and see into ourselves ever more deeply, to have fresh perspectives on how our reality and ultimate potential are configured, and to fine-tune our way of being in the world. Integral awareness practices are a form of Jnana, a yoga of contemplation for accessing transcendental wisdom. We re-pattern our mental framework to align with greater truth to better facilitate the authentic journey of the soul, and infuse daily life with more consciousness, intentionality and grace.
Cancion del Corazon Wholistic Lifepath Center
The center is a model of sustainability. Nestled among permaculture gardens and food forest landscape, what was once a run-down horse pasture is now a thriving, bio-diverse ecosystem that produces much of the food for retreat menus. The facilities feature intelligent design, solar power, wastewater bioremediation, rainwater harvesting, pristine andean mountain air and water, and stunning mountain vistas. Cancion del Corazon translates to Song of the Heart.
The town rests at 5000 ft elevation in the Andes mountains of Ecuador, about 5 degrees south of the Equator. The climate is as good as it gets, and is commonly referred to as eternal spring. It is known as the Valley of Longevity, and the playground of the Incas, where Incan royalty would go for rejuvenating retreats. This theme carries forward to present times, it is a healthy environment that energetically supports self development, spiritual awakening and permaculture values.
Suzannah Ohlune: Suzannah own journey of self-fulfillment has carried her into domains of healing, repatterning, and spiritual growth. Her generosity of heart and her devotion to serving the greater good come together in her self-styled ways of wholistic lifepath coaching. Suzannah loving presence, abundant gardens, and creative cuisine will feed your wholeness and kindle your soul. Her love of life combines with keen insight and deep caring, to offer a spacious, nurturing and supported experience as participants move through their personal process and open to transformation.
Phil Larstone: To transcend patterns of self-perception that sabotage our aspirations, we often need a new lense for seeing ourselves, a fresh perspective on how our reality and ultimate potential are configured. Then we can refine our strategy to move forward on our journey, to enable the surrender of what is not working and the embrace of what feels empowering and enlivening. Phil personal quest for realization has included life-long investigations into fields of self-development, human consciousness, and wisdom traditions. His capacity to synthesize information and connect the dots to further his own understandings of the human condition and the nature of creation have given rise to personal revelations and unique ways of communicating concepts that can distill what can seem like a complex configuration of disparate elements into a succinct unifying essence.

A Time for Healing
In everyone's life span comes a time of crisis and with it a time for healing. The crisis is rarely decided upon, although many omens
leading up to same are oftentimes ignored until the actual shock hits. Pain, loss, grief and sadness appear suddenly and with it the
choice and options to constructively yield to the inevitable. A time for healing however is a focused intent. It is a mindful choice to
connect with ones higher purpose to embrace the soul's journey, salute the spirit in ones existence with wisdom and compassion. It
is time to become sensitive to the hidden aspects of oneself and the larger human community. To realize ones mortality and become
acutely aware of the human condition we all share here in earth school. To accept and transcend the dramas of everyday life and
instead more fully embrace the dance of the great mystery of human life.
It is time to release the patterns of the past and not fret about the future. To slow down sufficiently to re-connect with ones breath,
the earth, her seasons and cycles, to find beauty in small treasures. To put ones mind in ones feet and walk more caringly on the
earthmother and draw healing from the very matrix of the universe. To enhance ones spiritual perception, become open to magic
and small pleasures and to re-assess ones practical needs. To celebrate the soul's awakening in a more creatively expressive way,
to claim ones autonomy and be taught by ones ancient inner knowing.
This can happen in many ways. A healing time is a time of profound personal empowerment. To decidedly commit to be living from
within a sacred space at all times and attuned to ones soul purpose. "Everything that lives wants attention, and the human soul is no
exception - it thrives when it knows itself perceived with compassion and reverence." When I work with a person, I attempt to look at
their soul self and observe the direction it wishes to move in. Then I look at the self-created obstructions in the body-mind dynamics
that block the soul's free movement. If the person is willing to transform and able to commit to a healing journey, I support them in
recognizing their soul's desire and via various immune enhancing tools guide them into the perceptual shape shifting needed to come
to the next level of beingness in their evolutionary cycle. To open to personal alchemy. To grow beyond what they know themselves
to be thus far.
Thought this process is essentially simple, it is sometimes challenging and sometimes great, depending on the rigidity and clinging
of the person's mental pattern and their subsequent emotional entanglements. In my work as a healer my biggest task is to encourage
the person to invite themselves into a healing time. To cross over the bridges of fear, worry, disease and confusions that prevent them
from living full, happy and healthy lives. To understand the necessity for beauty, play, ceremony, retreats and healing holidays. To
not see this as a luxury or as frivolous, not as selfish, not as crazy. So many times I am confronted with clients agreeing that my
suggestions of perhaps taking a vision quest, of moving to a brighter home, of enrolling in an art course of their choice, of committing
to ongoing therapy for a while, of taking the trip to the Caribbean they always dreamed of, are a good idea, but for reasons connected
with old worn out patterns of self limitation they are unable to jump into the abyss of the unknown and risk facing their new self. It
is almost tragic. Time and time again I witness people stuck in judgement, constriction and non-trust of the universal resources,
when they are within an inch of opening to a healing time for themselves. Perhaps for the first time and perhaps for the best time in
their lives. Inner work bears fruit when spiritual perception is brought into the everyday activities and during a healing time a person's
soul has a rare and wonderfully unique opportunity to become attuned to their true destiny and be more fully human. A healing time
is a turning point in a human life span. In my work with people suffering from all kinds of immune disorders, I have learned that
the immune system is strongly affected by feelings and that taking certain kinds of action, such as entering a committed healing time,
can affect the immune system positively.
There are now multiple options to awaken the possible human. To enter a discovery process about wholeness and the journey of
healing. For many, it is as simple as to just keep laughing in the face of their perceived obstacles, to discover the fire in the belly and
the spirit of soul in their eyes and the eyes of the world. To insist on hope and recovery. To creatively engage the imagination so it
may revitalize the body. For others it may take the form of a meditation retreat, of time in the wilderness, of moving to an urban
area, of simplifying their lifestyle or letting go of people and places one has outgrown a long time ago. For some a dream vacation
to a place of empowerment may serve as the catalyst for a healing time, and for most it is just sufficient to break out of the mold of
their perceived persona and release the mind mesh that entraps them. A healing time is a time of purification, a time of rebirth, a
time of coming into the grace of ones place in creation. It is available to us all.
